Cyber security, compliance matters and data protection can feel confusing and even unnecessary to the employees responsible for keeping your data safe (that’s all of them, by the way – even the management).  After all, they do have their jobs to do, and anything extra is often seen as an unnecessary hinderance.

Having said that they are still your first, best and last line of defence.  Your employees have access to an array of sensitive information. But remember, they are human - and therefore likely to take shortcuts, gt tired, make mistakes etc., and are often unaware of the impact this will have on your business in terms of unwelcome threat.
